Long time, no blog...

Well, things have been busy around these parts for sure.

Between unpacking, working, cleaning, caring for my little one, etc., it has not really left much time for anything else. Hence, the lack of blogging.

Still, I'm finally starting to piece together my schedule and such, so I can finally pursue my other hobbies again (blogging, reading, crafting, etc.)

All this time away from the blogosphere has definitely been a good thing though and has allowed me to examine exactly what I want to gain through blogging. All I can say at this point is there will probably be a little less blogging on Twas the Brillig from here on out and my blog will probably emerge in a different form. Probably more topic oriented and less personal.

Still, this won't change the blogs that I love to read, so if I'm one of your loyal readers, I won't be going anywhere!

Anyway, I will keep this blog updated on whatever happens with my blogging endeavors. Thanks for reading!

Happy things

Perhaps one of the best things about starting my own little blog has been the people I have met along the way.

One of these people is the lovely Yvonne Yam from Do More with Less.

I started peeking into her blog awhile back to marvel at her scrapbooking and card-making skills. While I find myself being intimidated by scrapbooking and card-making (especially with all of those talented people out there!), I love seeing what other people can do. And Yvonne always does such a lovely job that I always keep visiting her blog to see more!

Well, Yvonne knew that I was moving and sent me a lovely card all the way from Singapore! Not only did she send me a card, she wrote me a thoughtful note to go along with it and it truly brought a smile to my face when I read it. :)

My pictures don’t do this beautiful card justice, but I just wanted to say thanks to Yvonne! You made my day a little bit brighter!

So cute that you will cry...

The NY Lotto has been making some ridiculously cute commericals lately. Like, so cute, I pretty much melt into a pile of tears at their cuteness.

My favorite is the bun bun in the cow costume. So...dangerously...CUTE!

{in other news}

In the midst of all the madness going on over here, I totally forgot to thank MixTape for the free issue of madeit. It is full of scrumdiddlyumptious recipes and food pics...yum! Now, if I can only find the time to try my hand at making some of the foods...

Oh 90's, how I miss thee...

So, in the midst of all this madness, I finally had a relaxing night where I chilled on the couch and watched me some boob tube.

Lucky for me, VH1 Classics was having a countdown of the 100 best songs of the 90's!

Does anyone remember this little gem that made the countdown? I sure do! Even if you don't know it, you should listen to it anyway since this song is a hands-down classic...
